Auto-pull/aggregate events from other sites (RSS? iCal?)
Make it easier to aggregate events by making it automatic.
46 votesThis is somewhat related to http://eventification.uservoice.com/forums/22231-general/suggestions/483944-recurring-events-or-better-instructions-for-creat
I’m not ruling out iCal aggregation, and it would likely use a lot of the same mechanics from the recurring events functionality. They key issue with automatically aggregating events is tagging. In many cases, it will be okay for an organizer to create a list of tags to be associated with any event that passes through an iCal feed.
Eventification needs to automate as much as possible, and the process to input events should be as quick and painless as possible. However, to maintain the quality of content on the site, the creation of events should always involve a human, even if it’s just a couple clicks.

Show the event location in list view
The list view show's date/time and price, but not location. It would be nice to see at a glance, the location of the events when viewing a list.

Reset/Forgot Password..

Allow me to login through Twitter OAuth
Additionally, once my Twitter account is linked, let me promote events from the site directly. Allow people to turn on their RSVP preference (i.e., let people know I'm going).

Allow me to contact the event organizer
Currently, there's no information about who to contact about the event. This came up recently when a venue closed and it needed to be changed. The event organizer should be visible with a way to contact them.
4 votesI plan to implement a basic messaging system. In addition to including “event created by __” on event pages, this issue should automatically be remedied.

Give admins "flakeability" rating of people who have RSVP, enabling better planning of events.
and etc.

Allow us to remove events, delete.
I can lock but I'd like to remove, delete, never see it again. Especially if its new.

Subscribe to my data feed
I scrape over 50 websites in the Phoenix area for business networking events every month. I can provide this as a data feed for $50 per month. Contact me if interested.

Return an empty node when no events found when using XML
an example would be : http://eventification.com/api/get/events?latitude=40.769831&longitude=-73.958514&radius=20&format=xml which returns a 0 byte response
3 votesThis is a bug. Will fix it in the next round of updates!

New event should enforce maximum number of tags
Down with the tag spammers! The site becomes frustrating when events are over tagged. Allow a max of 4 or 5 tags and force event organizers to choose what is most relevant.
2 votesFor now, the priority is to get more events into the system (open up to user submission & community moderation), then I will worry about tightening up quality control.

Show a user's upcoming events, show upcoming events based on a tag. Show in list view or perhaps even a Google Map embed.

Venue pages
I'd like to be able to see what events are happening (and happened) at a specific venue. Additionally, I'd like to see more about the venue on this page (e.g., description, space size, amenities, etc.). This information is probably available from an existing service like Yelp.
